This is not a red herring that Redherring32 is making a portable GameCube. This is the same engineer that previously brought us the handheld Original Xbox. So you know this project is in good great hands. They emphasise in a series of X posts (linked blow) that this is not a Wii but an actual GameCube. The reason for this among other things is, that this will have access to a Gameboy Player built into the PCB. So as well as GameCube games, you can rock any roof top party with some Gameboy, Gameboy Color and Gameboy Advance games.
