A brand-new version of Pokémon Kart 64 has been released, bringing the late 90’s Pokémon universe into the world of Mario Kart 64. This advanced graphical hack replaces the entire roster with fan favorites like Pikachu, Bulbasaur, Meowth, Tangela, Cubone, Slowpoke, Porygon, and Gengar. In total, 151 Pokémon are featured throughout the game.
The hack also includes new sprites, textures, full SFX voice replacements, fresh music for Banshee Boardwalk, bug fixes, and even animated neon signs in Rainbow Road. Version 1.2 adds a second splash screen for the extra unlocked mirror mode. Best of all, it works on original N64 hardware without the need for an Expansion Pak.
