A new ROM hack of Alien 3 for the NES has just been released.
The hack focuses on refreshing the game’s overall visuals and atmosphere:
- Updated color palette across all levels for a more balanced and immersive look
- Ripley’s sprite palette adjusted for better character distinction
- A long-lasting radar added, giving players more time to explore and plan
While the gameplay remains faithful to the original, these tweaks give the 1990s title a modernized presentation that enhances both clarity and mood.
