A new version of the English retranslation patch for Sega Ages 2500 Series Vol. 1: Phantasy Star Generation:1 is now available. This release (v3.01) refines the original 2012 fan translation by Kyence and Tryphon, correcting numerous script issues and improving lore accuracy with fresh, more faithful terminology.
What’s New in v3.01
- Fixed a bug preventing credits from fading to color and blocking Clear Game Save creation
- Required for starting the Clear Game Quest in Phantasy Star Generation:2
- Corrected various line breaks and dialogue errors
- Adjusted enemy name “Motavian Criminal” to “Motavian Outlaw” to avoid UI overlap
- Fixed incorrect directions and missing words in NPC dialogue
