During EVO 2025, Digital Eclipse and Atari revealed several new details about Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection, including inclusion of Mortal Kombat Trilogy, release dates and the launch of physical editions.
Mortal Kombat Trilogy from 1996 is now officially part of the collection. Known for combining every character and stage from the first three games, it’s considered one of the most comprehensive 2D Mortal Kombat entries and also my personal favorite in the series.
Three physical editions were announced and are now available for pre-order:
Standard Edition – includes the game with themed slipcovers
Deluxe Edition – adds a steelbook, magnet, poster, and mini arcade marquees
Kollector’s Edition – includes a Goro statue, art book, coin, pin set, and numbered packaging
Release Dates:
The digital versions are scheduled for release on September 30, 2025 and all the physical versions are scheduled to release on December 12, 2025.
Pre-orders are live at Atari’s store, Limited Run Games, and major retailers such as Amazon and Best Buy. Some editions offer exclusive slipcover variants depending on the platform.
