If you are as old as I am and had access to an Amiga or an Atari ST when you were a youngling, then you probably remember Rick Dangerous, seriously, this is an unforgettable game, for many reasons, but the biggest being the sound Rick makes upon his death. I can still hear the super loud “Whaaaaaaaaaaarrrrhhhh” (hopefully I spelt in correctly).
The very talented guys over at Z-Team have brought an enhanced version of this classic over to the SEGA Mega Drive. It is developed using the Scorpion Engine and uses assets found in the Wii version among other things.
Z-Team have previously brought us some bangers too, including Maria Renard’s Revenge, which is great Castlevania spinoff, with a superb soundtrack.

this looks fun. I’ll have to try it with retroarch
Absolutely. The original was so good, this looks like it retains that flavour.
