Released by GbreezeSunset on August 10, 2025, House of Flying Veggies is a short but challenging Super Mario Bros. 2 Kaizo hack built entirely around advanced veggie-throwing techniques.
In ROM hacking terms, Kaizo describes fan-made levels that are intentionally difficult and puzzle-heavy, often requiring precise movement, unusual mechanics, or unconventional problem solving.
Each stage in this hack is only a single screen long, but the solutions can be cryptic, often involving convoluted veggie throws and sometimes more than one possible solution. While glitch knowledge isn’t required, the gameplay demands creativity and skill with SMB2’s unique item mechanics.
