
The fan-made Mario Kart 64 – Amped Up mod has just received a significant update, bringing it to version 3.02. This release addresses a wide range of player-reported issues while polishing up the experience even further.
Version 3.02 includes fixes for elimination mode bugs, balloon race detection, and object collision handling, as well as visual improvements such as higher-quality textures and better particle rendering at 60 FPS. Item effects, including Lightning and Starman, have also been rebalanced to work more consistently, and several track-specific glitches have been ironed out.
With these refinements, Amped Up continues to stand out as one of the most ambitious MK64 mods to date, offering fresh content while staying true to the game’s original charm.
