Play Your MiSTer Pi Using a Power Bank

MiSTer FPGA

After seeing a few members experimenting with using their MiSTer Pi consoles with a portable monitor and a power bank. I wanted to try it out for myself, so I did, and the result was amazing. I bought a cheap screen from AliExpress which is surprisingly good with 1ms of display lag. I paired that with a cheap Power Bank that I bought from Amazon, and BANG!! The magic just happened. Now I can take my MiSTer set up with me when I go shopping with the wife. This option will let me play it anywhere, in a park, in a car park, the beach, at a boring wedding, or ultimately at a roof top party. Check out the video below to see it in action.

    1. Looks great, but well out of my price range, especially for something I’d use a few times a year. But it’s definitely awesome.
