After seeing a few members experimenting with using their MiSTer Pi consoles with a portable monitor and a power bank. I wanted to try it out for myself, so I did, and the result was amazing. I bought a cheap screen from AliExpress which is surprisingly good with 1ms of display lag. I paired that with a cheap Power Bank that I bought from Amazon, and BANG!! The magic just happened. Now I can take my MiSTer set up with me when I go shopping with the wife. This option will let me play it anywhere, in a park, in a car park, the beach, at a boring wedding, or ultimately at a roof top party. Check out the video below to see it in action.
While that screen was cheap and nice, you should definitely try out this one, since it’s OLED and 4:3

Looks great, but well out of my price range, especially for something I’d use a few times a year. But it’s definitely awesome.
