A brand-new overhaul of Mega Man: Dr. Wily’s Revenge for the DMG Game Boy has just been released, breathing new life into the original Game Boy classic. Created with Dr. Wily’s Toolkit and YYCHR, this hack reimagines the game with a modern design philosophy. Levels have been rebuilt from scratch to create a smoother flow and more engaging experience, while maintaining the challenge that fans expect.
The hack also features updated visuals that incorporate anti-aliasing techniques for a cleaner, more modern pixel-art look. On top of that, tweaks to contact damage and health values make the gameplay feel fairer and less punishing compared to the original release.
