Developer OzzyOuzo is making waves in the retro gaming scene with not one, but two exciting projects in development for the Neo Geo AES and MVS. Both titles bring arcade classics to SNK’s hardware, keeping the retro charm alive while adding modern polish.
Bad Dudes: Burger Edition
The cult classic Bad Dudes Vs. Dragon Ninja is getting a fan-made upgrade with Bad Dudes: Burger Edition. Originally released by Data East, Bad Dudes is remembered for its over-the-top story of rescuing the President from ninjas. This new edition retains the cheesy fun of the original while running natively on the Neo Geo platform, enhanced with a smooth 16-bit aesthetic and subtle gameplay refinements. In The Hunt
OzzyOuzo is also working on a Neo Geo port of In The Hunt, the submarine shooter originally released on Irem’s M92 hardware and developed by the same team behind Metal Slug. Known for its detailed underwater visuals and intense gameplay, bringing In The Hunt to Neo Geo is a technical challenge, but the demo already shows several of the original’s signature effects running smoothly on the hardware.
