Final Fantasy Adventure DX Brings the Classic to Game Boy Color

Romhacks Game Boy Color Games

The original Final Fantasy Adventure on the Game Boy has just received a fresh coat of paint with the release of Final Fantasy Adventure Color. Created by theadamrippon, this hack transforms the 1991 action RPG into a full Game Boy Color experience, giving fans the chance to revisit the classic with vibrant visuals.

Known as the first entry in the Mana series, Final Fantasy Adventure blends RPG elements with real-time combat. While the gameplay remains faithful to the original, the added color brings towns, dungeons, and battles to life in a way the monochrome release never could.

We’ve recently covered all three Final Fantasy Legend DX color hacks, and it’s great to see Final Fantasy Adventure receive the same treatment. For fans of Square’s early handheld RPGs, this is another excellent way to rediscover a classic in color.
