The latest version of Zaparoo Core (v2.6.2) is now available, focusing on fixing several issues introduced in the 2.6.0 release and improving overall stability.
Key fixes include better handling of Windows file launchers (.lnk, .a3x, .ahk), corrected allow_file config matching, and a resolved bug where multiple launchers would start but immediately be killed. Media database generation reliability has also been improved.
Batocera support has been expanded with additional systems missed in the first round, and Kodi integration has been refined with clearer system separation (MusicAlbum, MusicArtist, TVShow) plus new support for .m3u and .m3u8 playlist launching.
On the NFC side, this release brings important library updates aimed at improving stability and reader compatibility on Windows.
