Exobrave is an upcoming 2D action-platformer currently in development by Roborar Digital. Set in a futuristic colony overrun by demon-possessed machines, the game combines tight platforming with fast-paced combat, multiple playable characters, and branching paths that promise replay value.
The developers are steadily revealing more about the project, and the latest update highlights a new boss encounter: Goliath.
Visually and mechanically, Exobrave carries strong retro DNA. Its pixel art presentation and combat flow bring to mind classic 16-bit titles, and to me, the gameplay especially recalls the SNES standout Hagane: The Final Conflict. Like Hagane, Exobrave blends acrobatic movement with weapon-based close combat, giving encounters a sharp, deliberate rhythm.
Exobrave is still in development with no set release date, but the project is shaping up into one of the more intriguing indie action games on the horizon. For now, players can wishlist the game on Steam to stay updated on its progress.
