A new patch by Vague Rant restores the original brightness and color levels of Bangai-O on Dreamcast to match the Japanese release Bakuretsu Muteki Bangai-O.
Using Derek Pascarella’s Universal Dreamcast Patcher, players can now apply the fix to the European, US, or VGA-patched versions of the game. The patch adjusts the visuals to their intended vibrancy, correcting the slightly dimmed look found in Western releases.
The download includes three DCP patches and showcases clear before-and-after comparisons, revealing sharper, more vivid backgrounds and title screens faithful to Treasure’s 1999 original.
