The team at Heber, who brought the MiSTer Multisystem 2 to market, have used their own alternative to the DE10 Nano board. It’s a MiSTer system that has been very well received within the community. It seems the team haven’t forgotten about arcade lovers who are also big MiSTer fans, as they’re now working on an all-in-one system that incorporates a JAMMA connection for easy drop-in installation into arcade cabinets.
Although the MiSTer MMS2 isn’t as affordable as the MiSTer Pi, SuperStationOne, or QMTech variants, it offers a strong middle ground between those lower-cost alternatives and the original DE10 Nano from Terasic. Now, with added JAMMA support, Heber are providing arcade-focused options at a price that may offer better value than other systems currently available on the market.
I’ve spoken to Heber personally, and they’ve confirmed that they’re open to feedback regarding the enclosure design. So, if you’d like to share your thoughts or suggestions, please feel free to reach out to them.
