NES TMNT Gets a SNES-Style Upgrade

Romhacks SNES

Infamous ROM hacker infidelity has just publicly released his latest work, this time it’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for the NES, brought over to the SNES. This upgrade removes many of the NES limitations, such as sprite flicker and slowdown in certain areas, making it feel like an enhanced NES game, which is exactly what it is.

Infidelity has previously brought over several classics, including Duck Tales, Mike Tyson’s Punch-Out!, and many more. His upgrades often include added features like custom intros and soundtracks, and his ports are widely regarded as the definitive versions of these classics.

The big question is, does infidelity’s port make this tough-as-nails game any easier? Check out his tweet embedded below for more details on how you can get your hands on this game. Cowabunga!
