System 3’s 43 Years in Business
System 3, the publisher/developer, is celebrating its 43rd anniversary and is recognized as the world’s longest-running independent developer and publisher branded games label.
- Founding: System 3 was founded on October 30th, 1982.
- Legacy: The label has remained “proudly independent” for over four decades, continuously producing, publishing, and owning its own titles, which its founder and CEO, Mark Hale, says is a testament to its enduring legacy.

wow, initially when I saw the title I was like ‘Did Sega also have a System 3?’…..
But I haven’t really played much by them I think, I do see International Karate and Last Ninja which I played on my C64c.
But James Pond I have never played. Seeing how they survived for so long as a company, they should be good?
