Analogue 3D restock. Monday, Nov 24th 8am PST – 4pm UK – 5pm CET

Other FPGA FPGA Gaming

Well the reviews have been very positive on the eagerly awaited Analogue 3D. The good news is restock is here and open for ordering, tomorrow the 24th of November 2025. The price has gone up by $20 from the initial pre-order price from two year ago, which in all honesty is a lot less than I personally expected.

  1. So…who is trying to order one today?

I want one….but why if I’m honest?? In all fairness the amount of N64 I play is very low actually.
There are some cool titles though, but for me this is the low point of interest regarding games.
The SNES before it is much more interesting and so is the GameCube which came after it.

And…if/whenever the M64 releases it ‘should’ be the more desirable system simply because of the promised day one open-source nature of it. The fact that other cores could run on it make the M64 much more interesting. Its FPGA is supposedly a bit more powerful than the one in the 3D which is already twice as powerful as the one in the MiSTer. And then there is also the fact that the dev that did the N64 MiSTer core (and other cores incl the PS1 core) is the one that is doing the (port of his own) core for the M64 and that guy does magic haha.
It is of-course unknown what the M64 can do, because it’s not here yet and there is also no ATA. And for some it is an issue what Palmer Luckey’s main business is, but in all truth that has zero to do with the system’s capabilities.
