Capcom has officially revealed Mega Man: Dual Override during The Game Awards 2025, confirming a brand-new mainline entry in the long-running series. The short reveal trailer shows classic 2D action-platforming, with Mega Man blasting through enemies and navigating stages that clearly draw inspiration from the franchise’s retro roots while sporting a modern visual update.
Mega Man: Dual Override is planned for release in 2027 on consoles and PC, lining up with the Blue Bomber’s 40th anniversary. Capcom also announced a Robot Master design contest, giving fans the chance to contribute their own boss ideas to the game. More details are expected to be shared closer to launch.
