An initial test version of the Nintendo VS. NES arcade core has been shared on the MiSTer FPGA Discord server. The early build was posted by developer blue1 and is clearly marked as a work in progress intended for testing and feedback.
The release includes a test RBF and a small MRA pack, allowing users to begin experimenting with Nintendo’s VS. arcade hardware on MiSTer. As with other arcade cores, users need to supply their own ROMs, no game data is included.
The Nintendo VS. System is an arcade adaptation of NES hardware and differs from the home console in several key areas, including ROM layouts, DIP switch behavior, and arcade-specific functionality. Notably, the core supports dual-screen output, mirroring the original arcade setup, with one display via HDMI and a second display via the Analog I/O board.
Since this is an early test build, bugs may occur, and compatibility and accuracy are expected to improve over time.

Never new there was arcade hardware based on the NES!
