We are fans of the Reflex Adapt by MiSTer Addons, we even very recently held a giveaway for one. So it’s really nice to find that Nicholas De Leon has designed some Custom Firmware that takes the already excellent experience even further. The Reflex Adapt already gives you lots of controller compatibly that can be used on the MiSTer FPGA and the PC, from SNES to Jaguar to the 3DO, this really is a very versatile device. The latest feature this CFW offers is pressure sensitive button support for the Sony PlayStation 2’s Dualshock 2 via the PCSX2 emulator. The game featured in the X post below is Metal Gear Solid 3, which has pressure sensitive buttons controls for Circle, Square, L2 and R2.
It’s great seeing innovation like this in projects, which certainly adds a lot more value to the Reflex Adapt. As well as a more authentic way to enjoy some of our most prized games on modern devices via emulation.
