The YouTube video was changed to private by the UsagiShade due to his departure of the project, more about this here.
Original Post:
iiSU has released a new Full Presentation on YouTube, giving a broader look at its vision for a polished and modern front end designed for Android. The presentation focuses heavily on the user interface and introduces several features that aim to create a streamlined and visually cohesive way to browse and launch emulated games on mobile devices.
The interface shown includes animated transitions, system artwork views, grid and carousel style libraries, video preview support, custom backgrounds and a layout that prioritizes clarity and consistency. iiSU also demonstrates a DS Mode that recreates a dual screen setup, with options for vertical or horizontal orientation depending on the game and device. Theme customization is another major element, allowing users to adjust colors, background styles, UI accents and display layouts to match their preferred aesthetic.
The presentation also outlines iiSU’s focus on user friendly library management. The front end will be able to scan and organize ROMs into system categories, display high quality cover art and metadata, and provide flexible sorting and filtering options. The team also showcases a Quick Launch bar and a context menu that can display game specific details, media and configuration shortcuts.
Alongside the concept footage, a beta build of the dual screen feature is already available on the iiSU Patreon, giving early access supporters the chance to test the DS Mode on Android devices. This is currently the only publicly available build and is focused on dual screen functionality rather than the full front end experience.
Since the presentation is centered on design and user experience, technical details such as emulator compatibility, controller configuration, audio and video settings and the full setup workflow remain unknown for now. The team appears to be prioritizing UI development before revealing the deeper system integration.
Even so, iiSU has quickly attracted attention due to its polished visual direction. The layout, visual consistency and focus on presentation make it stand out from typical Android emulator launchers and suggest that iiSU is aiming for a more premium experience.
The project is still early, but the foundation shown in the presentation highlights a clear ambition to modernize game browsing on Android. Metal Game Solid will continue following the development as new builds and details become available.

I watched that video and to be honest I closed it at the point when stores with curated content from influencers were shown…
It’s a cool looking frontend, that is surely a thing. But why would I want a music player, all this friends list and messaging social media nonsense and a curated content theme store when it’s a frontend for my gaming library? I’m getting old I guess haha
I’ll stick with ES-DE for the time being.
