- JT Took a short personal break of four days but now back to work.
- Rafa returns to the office on Monday after a two-week break and will resume development on the Neo Geo Pocket Color (NGPC) core.
- Pluto also returns next week; she handles:
- Inventory management
- PCB/schematic acquisitions
- Core testing
- A new team member joins for August to implement a regression test system based on core simulations.
- This will help detect issues when changes to one core affect others.
- Furrtek (external collaborator) recently completed reverse engineering work on two Konami chips essential to upcoming developments.
- Not a formal team member, but closely involved in collaboration.
- Acquired schematics for Golfing Greats, which uses the same pseudo-3D chip as Run’n Gun.
- Work on Golfing Greats is progressing and will be completed before returning to Run’n Gun, which is already playable.
- Golfing Greats will launch on the JTRIDERS (Sunset Riders) core beta.
- As Golfing Greats doesn’t require the frame buffer, it’s being prioritised.
- Run’n Gun still requires adjustments due to a timing issue similar to the one seen on the Out Run core.
- Efforts underway to acquire more Analogue Pocket units for testing and fine-tuning.
- Once the frame buffer is stable and functional, development on the CPS3 core will begin.
