QMTECH, a company known for its FPGA products, has issued a public warning to consumers regarding what it describes as “direct clones” of its Mister FPGA boards. The warning comes in response to a growing number of customer complaints about significant quality issues, including poor soldering and malfunctioning cores.

In a recent post on the social media platform X (embedded below), a representative for QMTECH stated, “Recently, I’ve got several complaints from buyers regarding the QMTECH Mister quality issues. Like poor soldering quality or cores like PS1 and N64 are not working.” The post then clarified, “I’m here to clarify these boards are direct clones of our QMTECH Misters. Please be careful when place orders.”
