We can all agree that ROM hacks of our favourite games bring additional value as well as new and creative ways to enjoy some of our favourite childhood games. There are some ROM hacks that work on software emulators but do not run on original hardware as well as the MiSTer FPGA. This is where this forked version of the core comes in. Try it for any ROM hack that does not work on the vanilla core. For you regular games keep using the regular core. More information in the MiSTer FPGA forum post and GitHub link.
