Retro Remake has sent out an update to Founders and Friends Edition buyers of the Super Station One (SS1), confirming a short delay in the shipping schedule due to minor issues found during validation of the v1.2 motherboard.
The new revision, labeled v1.2.1, addresses several small but important details such as slow assembly speed, unified NTSC and PAL switches, and improved power delivery for the optional SuperDock. The team also added a toggle to improve YC/CVBS analog output, resulting in reference-quality video from every connector.
A small batch of 100 v1.2.1 units is now being produced, with testing and packing expected around November 14–15 and shipping targeted for November 16, assuming no further issues arise. Clear Blue units will ship first, followed by Classic Gray and Black. The SuperDock remains on track to reach T0 by November 20, with mass production expected by the end of the month.
For a deeper look at what’s changing and why, Pixel Cherry Ninja has shared a detailed breakdown video that goes more in-depth on the latest Super Station One update.
