Although the picture above may look like a corridor surrounded by a couple of bright walls, this is actually Taki Udon from Retro Remake teasing his upcoming NES-themed dedicated FPGA console.
We all know that the SuperStationOne, which is a PlayStation-inspired MiSTer FPGA console, is just around the corner. This NES-inspired console will be the next themed (likely MiSTer-based) console.
If it’s anything like the SS1, it will run more than just NES games, as the hardware is fully compatible with the entire MiSTer FPGA project. Your observation of the teaser picture is correct: the image shows the NES controller ports, power button, and the square power light indicator, strongly suggesting it is modelled after the classic US NES-001 front-loader.

The picture above is a teaser from a few months ago, showing us the same concept but less colourful. So, it’s nice to see the new colours and the fact that Taki is confirming there are lots of colours in the works via his earlier X post.

Above is a picture taken from a video where Taki shows carts running via the SuperStationOne. Therefore, this is likely what will be the driving force behind the NES-inspired console.
