Analogue 3D-OS v1.2.0 Update Improves Display Support and Library Features

Other FPGA

Analogue 3D has received a new system update that focuses on stability, compatibility, and quality-of-life improvements. Several issues affecting 4K TVs, HDMI features, and audio output have been resolved, making the console more reliable across different display and sound setups.

Game compatibility has also seen improvements, fixing problems that caused visual issues or incorrect behavior in a small number of titles. General performance has been refined as well, with faster boot times, better cartridge detection, and smoother overall operation.

One of the more user-facing changes is an expanded Library feature. Players can now see how long they have played each game, when a game was added, and whether it supports Expansion Pak or Controller Pak features. A new optional video setting called Force Progressive Output has also been added in beta, aiming to provide a cleaner image in some games, though results may vary depending on the title.

Controller support has been improved too, adding compatibility with the Nintendo Switch Online N64 controller and better support for popular 8BitDo controllers.
