It seems like the the PC via Steam is where all the Shmups are going to get some love first these days. I can’t really complain as after gaming on FPGA devices the PC is next followed by the Nintendo Switch. What’s great about this collection is as well as a number of classic titles, it has the brand new Salamander III. Which is a welcome new game in the series. Something you do not see too often these days.

The infamous M2 are behind this release and I personally feel they are the best when it comes to bringing classics back to the modern era. I’m a big fan of their previous efforts, which include Shinobi, Virtua Racing and the Castlevania Advance Collection.
