Going back to the days of playing Monkey Island on the Amiga, swapping those disks between scenes was cumbersome, but it was still so much fun. Later, I moved on and played some Broken Sword games on my PC, as well as years later on an iPhone. Later still, I played the Telltale games like The Wolf Among Us and The Walking Dead. There’s something about the point-and-click genre that’s just pure magic, so it’s nice to see that in the current day and age we’re still getting new games that continue the genre while maintaining a modern-ish, classic look. Enter Midnight Saturn, which looks great. It’s a sci-fi adventure in which you play a private investigator who takes on a murder case no one else will touch. Naturally, it leads to a deep conspiracy.

This is a game we’re really looking forward to. While there’s no release date yet, you can try the demo and wishlist it on Steam to stay updated.
A special mausimus for bringing this to our attention.
I have a soft spot for this genre as well, starting with Zak McKracken (C64) and Monkey Island.
This kind of reminded me of Gemini Rue (it’s on steam), which I think I need to replay now 🙂
I’ll definitely will keep an eye on this.
I think I played Gemini Rue. All I can remember of it, was that I was in a classroom at some point.
