Super Bomberman Collection has launched today, bringing together the Super Famicom era entries from the Super Bomberman lineup. The collection is now available on Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S/X and PC via Steam, making these classic multiplayer titles widely accessible on modern hardware.
Beyond nostalgia, the release also shines a light on the series’ unusual regional history. Super Bomberman 3 launched in Japan and PAL territories but never received a North American release, while Super Bomberman 4 and Super Bomberman 5 remained exclusive to the Japanese Super Famicom for years.
Rather than altering gameplay, Super Bomberman Collection focuses on preservation, delivering the fast-paced arena battles and chaotic local multiplayer the series is known for.
