Matt Hughson has announced that Super Sunny World is entering the final stages of development, with a private beta planned for the new year. The goal of the closed testing phase is to gather player feedback and identify remaining bugs as the project approaches completion.
The NES platformer has been in development for quite some time, and reaching a private beta marks one of the final steps before a wider release. Interested players can sign up to participate via a registration form shared by the developer.
Super Sunny World is planned to launch in multiple formats, including a physical NES cartridge, a digital ROM, and a PC release on Steam.
