With that message, he shared a sneak peek of Street Fighter 6 Leon, a custom character built from scratch using original gameplay mechanics inspired by Capcom’s newest fighter.

Legacy Meets Innovation

Violin Ken has long been respected in the M.U.G.E.N community for his accurate and stylish Capcom-based characters, often replicating the fluidity and feel of classics like 3rd Strike and Capcom vs SNK. Now, with Leon, he’s bringing that same attention to detail into the modern era merging retro sensibilities with Street Fighter 6-inspired design and gameplay.

M.U.G.E.N Turns 26

Originally released by Elecbyte in July 1999, M.U.G.E.N has become a cornerstone of the fighting game fan scene, allowing creators to build their own characters, stages, and full games. Over the years, it has evolved from a simple customizable engine into the platform behind fan projects like Capcom Universe, Marvel vs Capcom Eternity, and countless original works.
