The beloved fan-made modification Mario Kart 64 Amped Up has just received a fresh pair of updates for the holiday season. Version 3.20, released recently, brings festive flair to the classic racer with a suite of Christmas-themed costumes, including optional Santa and elf outfits for various characters, adding a cheerful seasonal twist to the game’s already expansive mod content.
This update continues Amped Up’s tradition of expanding the original N64 experience well beyond its roots, complementing its 16 brand-new courses, additional game modes, fully animated 3D racers, modernized visuals, and more, which have helped sustain interest in the mod across multiple years.
Shortly after the holiday update, the developer also released version 3.21, a hotfix that addresses issues introduced in 3.20 and improves stability and gameplay balance.
