A vey talented developer known as Pigsy has been working on bringing over one of the best games of all time to the SEGA Mega Drive/Genesis, that’s right it’s Castlevania: Symphony of the night. Pigsy has been frequent updates via his X account and YouTube channel. Check the X post below of the latest update that shows Soma Cruz from the Sorrow Games as a playable character in SotN. This really is mind-blowing. The Sorrow games and Soma is a well-loved character by Castlevania fans, including myself. Many if asked what their favourite three Castlevania games are, they would likely reply Symphony of the Night, Aria of Sorrow and Dawn of Sorrow.
Well since Konami have pretty much given up in giving us a new 2d Metroidvania Castlevania, it’s always a please seeing fins doing their thing, chicken wing.
