Let’s Get Ready to Rumble!
It was inevitable, and now it’s a reality. Thanks to the ROM hacking efforts of InsaneFirebat and kandowontu, Super Metroid for the Super Nintendo/Famicom now has rumble. This places Super Metroid in the company of games like Star Fox and Castlevania, which already offer a more immersive experience on the SNES.
You can experience this new rumble feature on the original hardware with an upcoming Limited Run Games controller, as well as on the MiSTer FPGA and Mesen 2.1.1+. More emulators are expected to add support in the future.
