Thanks to the awesome team over at Pow Pixel Games, we’re happy to share the news and kickstart the Metal Game Solid Giveaway Number 6!
This time, we have three digital copies of Abathor, the excellent 2D action, hack-and-slash arcade-style platformer. We have one copy for each of the major console families:

Entry is simple
- If you do not have a user account at metalgamesolid.com, please create one and leave a comment on this post stating what your favourite side-scrolling action platform game is?
- In addition to the above, please state which platform you are entering for. Example: PlayStation, Xbox, or Switch. Please use the exact platform name as listed, as we will be conducting three separate draws based on platform and will be searching for the names exactly as stated above. A typo could result in your entry not being included in the draw.
- Only one entry per person is allowed. You may not submit separate entries for multiple platforms. Doing so will lead to disqualification.
- Follow either Metal Game Solid on X or BlueSky (or both), Like & Repost the giveaway post on X or Blue Sky (linked below).
Terms and conditions
- Adhere to points 1-4 above. Non- adherence will lead to disqualification.
- The prize consists of three digital copies of Abathor, one each for Xbox, PlayStation, and Switch.
- We will contact winners via DM on metalgamesolid.com.
- We reserve the right to withdraw the giveaway without any prior notice.
- The giveaway will run for seven days, after which random comments will be selected for each platform.
- The prize cannot be exchanged for an alternative.
- If the winner does not respond to DM within 48 hours, then another winner will be randomly selected.

Bonus Giveaway from Pow Pixel Games – Win the PC Physical Collector’s Edition
Below is the mascot and pet of Pow Pixel Games, he’s known as Pixor. You’ll see him when you boot up the game. During a recent interview on the Pixel Cherry Ninja YouTube channel, the Abathor brothers revealed that Pixor is hidden within the game, but no one has found him yet.
They issued a challenge during the live stream: anyone who finds Pixor, takes a screenshot or picture, and shows it to them will win the Collector’s Physical Edition for PC.
If you do find Pixor, tag the Abathor account on X or BlueSky (and feel free to tag us too, optional).
There’s a clue about the area where Pixor can be found hidden within the live stream interview, which is embedded below.

Description
Abathor is a 2D arcade action platformer for up to 4 players. You are the last hope in defense of Atlantis, you’ll face hordes of enemies and countless challenges. Enjoy its pixel art and epic music. A cooperative and competitive game to achieve glory or death.

History
“Know, oh prince, that in the years when Atlantis ruled the oceans, sins and arrogance unleashed fierce demons. When everything seemed lost, four heroes arrived to close the Gates of Abathor.” The Atlantean civilization has angered the gods. They have sent hordes of monsters to punish Atlantis by destroying the continent. Players must cooperate and compete to save Atlantis, going through a series of challenges of increasing difficulty. In their progress, our heroes will fight against ferocious demons and primordial gods, against the living and against the dead, against flying beasts and crawling horrors. They will dodge dangers and traps and descend into chilling abysses. But they will also compete against each other for the loot and the spoils, plundering treasures and offering them to the gods to receive their favor.
