Zaploader, designed by BedroomNinja, is now available to 3D print yourself — the full files have just been released on MakerWorld.
Zaploader is an NFC cart reader for the Zaparoo project, letting you launch games for MiSTer, Windows, Batocera and SteamOS using original cartridges or repo shells. This is not a ROM reader/dumper, cartridges must have an NFC tag inside to launch games.
Out of the box, it supports SNES (PAL/JAP) cartridges and NFC cards (standard size and Zaparoo trading cards). With the optional adapter pack, you can also use NES, Famicom, Game Boy, N64, Master System, Mega Drive, and Game Gear cartridges.
The Zap Pad fits directly into the main body, and a USB-C PN532 NFC reader can be mounted using double-sided tape. Due to its size, Retro Remake’s NFC reader is not supported.
