Homebrew and indie developers are once again invited to bring their creations to one of the biggest retro celebrations of the year. The Indie Retro Homebrew Showcase will return at Super MAGFest 2026, taking place January 8–11, 2026.
Submissions are now open and will remain so until October 6, 2025, at 11:59 PM EST. Developers are asked to provide a playable build of their game along with screenshots, and while in-person attendance is not required, it is encouraged. Interested creators can apply through the official submission page.
Accepted titles will be featured in a dedicated retro space at MAGFest, complete with couches, CRT monitors, and original consoles. Even unfinished projects are welcome, making this a unique opportunity to share works-in-progress alongside polished releases.
For homebrew creators, this showcase is one of the most visible platforms to connect with fans and the retro gaming community.
