We all know when it comes to innovation in the world of console gaming, Nintendo are always the frontrunners. From the commercial flop of a Virtual Boy, to a three handed N64 controller, to the Wiimote, you know the controller that finally got your grandmother playing bowling. Nintendo take those chances and often achieve great success.
While the Switch 2 launched with the gimmick of having a mouse mode function, it wasn’t something that felt groundbreaking or revolutionary.
This new patent as pointed out by Nintendo Patents Watch is something that looks as cool as a cheetah wearing shades. It’s a crank and a clickable wheel. Without going into what a clickable wheel attachment on a Joy-Con can do, our minds are blown at the thought of a crack and a new or remastered version of Sega Bass Fishing. We can now go fishing on our Switch 2 when going fishing in real life.
We hope these parents come to life and become a tangible product. Do let us know your thoughts below.
