Wizzo has released Zaparoo Core v2.7.1, a small update designed to smooth out some issues discovered after the big 2.7.0 launch.
On Batocera, the virtual controller caused trouble with some emulators, so it’s now turned off by default. If you still want it, you can switch it back on. There’s also a temporary workaround where Batocera users should disable the screensaver until an official fix arrives.
MiSTer users get a more stable database update process, which should help prevent rare crashes some people reported.
PN532 NFC tag writing has been improved too, now retrying automatically and checking the data to make sure everything was written correctly. There’s also a new simple “health check” URL that lets you confirm whether Zaparoo is running.
The update also includes general fixes for accuracy, memory use, and the Web UI.
