Iced Lizard Games has released Mute Crimson DC, a brand-new, completely free game for the Sega Dreamcast. The stylish precision platformer, originally released as Mute Crimson DX, has now been adapted to Sega’s hardware with impressive results.
The game features nine worlds packed with wall-climbing, double jumps, boss battles, hidden secrets, and a striking black, white, and red aesthetic backed by a chiptune soundtrack. Full-screen hand-drawn cutscenes tell the story, while multiple video options including anamorphic widescreen support ensure it looks great on modern displays.
The game runs on real Dreamcast hardware via GDEMU or even a burned CD and requires just 4 blocks of VMU space for saving.
