Developer Euan Forrester (@photoeuan) has added complete Visual Memory Unit (VMU) support to his online Dreamcast save file converter, expanding compatibility with formats like .vmi, .vms, .dci and raw flash images (.bin, .vmu, .flash). The tool even supports extended VMU filesystems and can handle misformatted images.
The update also includes a detailed guide on how to transfer save files to and from an actual Dreamcast console, making the process accessible for anyone looking to back up or restore their saves.
Falco Girgis, creator of the ElysianVMU emulator, praised the update, noting that Forrester’s research even helped improve his own emulator’s core accuracy.

This is one to remember for me, I might need this.
It might also be useful for the upcoming VMU Pro by 8Bitmods, interesting stuff, thanks!!
