Growing up in London, UK, RoboCop was big; the movie was a cult classic which we all watched, even though we were well under age at the time. Then came the arcade game that blew us away even more.
The year 2025 is not slowing down, as Monster Bath Games is working on bringing the arcade game to the Mega Drive. So far, it looks amazing, and a lot of progress has been made since the last time we featured this on the site.
When you watch the video, make sure the sound is on as you will love hearing the RoboCop stage one theme in true Mega Drive sound. The level layout is superb, and everything really looks like the arcade. ED-209 shows up at the end, and even the stage clear sound is done in a glorious manner.
We at Metal Game Solid are really looking forward to when this is finally playable. Looking at it even now gives us goosebumps, especially when listening to the soundtrack.
