To celebrate Rayman’s 30th anniversary, ModRetro has brought the Game Boy Color classic back with a brand-new physical release. Originally launched in 2000, this handheld entry offered a unique 2D adventure tailored for the system’s limited hardware, with over 30 levels of platforming, secret areas, and the charm that made Rayman a fan favorite.
The ModRetro version stays faithful to the original gameplay while adding some collector-focused extras. It comes on a purple cartridge with updated box art and manual, plus a Rayman-themed charm. A new soundtrack has also been included, giving this edition a fresh twist. Best of all, the cartridge works on original Game Boy Color hardware as well as modern options like the Analogue Pocket.
